it may be the fact that the following pictures were taken less than 3 days ago!!!
I do have to say that I love my view...the pictures arethe view from my front window....(the last two). The FIRST two were taken in my backyard. My backyard is unique. We live right up against a mountain. It seems odd, but it's kind of nice. This last summer we went hiking up the mountain a few times and it's a gorgeous view once you get to the top...you can see miles and miles of city, farmland and desert...such a cool contrast. Next year I'll remember to take my camera with me! :)
funny thing about the weather here, though. We had about 65 degree weather today...but by Monday, it's supposed to snow again. So much for Happy Halloween...more like Merry Christmas! I suddenly feel like drinking eggnog.

O my...what a cool thing! We are in the flat lands of farm land, Illinois...which has its own beauty I suppoe but WOW how amazing to like where you have that view everyday!
