DAY 1

okay, so it's really day TWO of my challenge...the challenge to get moving and start eating healthier. I was too tired to post yesterday. I started doing Weighter Watchers (although I'm just counting points, not going to meetings or anything like that). I also signed up for Lady's fitness Express...a local women's circuit training place. IT's a mix of cardio and weight training...you rotate between the two throughout a 30 min. time period. I have extended it to 40 min....10 extra min. of cardio. It feels good to actually be doing something about how yucky I feel so this will be a really positive change! I am just to the point where I am run down...I can't sleep because there is so much on my mind, yet I am exhausted all of the time because I eat like CRAP and don't get any good quality activity in my life. Diabetes runs in my family and I have all of the red flags surfacing...it's time to do something about that so that I don't actually get it!!

I'll be keeping track from time to time here on my blog...maybe show some pictures of my progress, only that will be SOME TIME before I will feel comfortable doing that!

HALLOWEEN is almost here. A week ago was Fall Festival at our school. I rented some costumes for the girls. We got them from a party store here in town. As we browsed the racks, I pretty excited to find that the rentals were reasonably priced. Jessica and Ashley picked out some mideavil maiden tyoe dresses and Paige picked out a cute Poodle skirt. We get to the register to rent them and find out that the price is PER DAY! YIKES...I told the girls they could have the "nice" costumes for this one night but then we were doing make-shift costumes for Halloween. I couldn't swallow the amount that the rentals came to for more than one day. I could only get a few pictures of the girls before they complained so I only have a few but Paige is always willing to be the victim.
