I'm completely excited about today's sponsor...partly because she's my SISTER and partly because she just plain rocks!! Christy Tomlinson is personally responsible for getting me into scrapbooking, which essentially led me to this place in my life. i heart faces has some unique photo challenges that are always fun to participate in.


Today's challenge is all about the smirk...that quirky little, mischievous smile that seems to say, "Wait!!! I'm not ready...or am I??"

Here's my take on the challenge. I dug around through some old photos and came up with this one of Ashley. It's sort of this candid shot of her when I was first getting to know my camera. It was pretty easy, though...I swear this girl was born with a smirk on her face.

It's Friday!! MOST Fridays are good Fridays, but I'm a little sad because it means that Spring Break is nearly over. One Friday a month, I will be posting a freebie, just for you! SO, check back every Friday so you don't miss out!

While I was out and about this week, I noticed that butterflies were EVERYWHERE..not REAL butterflies, but on clothing, dishes, jewelry, etc. The trend is butterflies, although I don't think they ever go out style. There's something about these beautiful fluttering friends that inspire us to use them on everything. :)

They've even inspired me to create a lovely freebie, just for you!! Download these fancy flutterbyes (as Paige calls them) for your own personal use.
