Out with old, in with the new...

HAPPY NEW YEAR...It has been awhile since I last posted but life has been crazy busy. We are on break for only a few more days, but it has been a nice one.
We were able to spend Christmas Eve with my Dad and a few of my siblings. the grandchildren did the bible version of the story of Christ...it was too funny...the shepards used dusters and brooms as staffs and we were even graced with the presence of Superman..check it out:



We spent Christmas day with Scott's family. We were supposed to get to see his brother Michael and his family (Mandy and Pace) but their flight was cancelled due to the major storm in Denver. We were all pretty bummed about that.

The last few months have brought on some rewarding outcomes to the work I have been doing since this summer. My designs are up for sale at scrapnfonts.com. These are printable card kits and the most exciting aspect to all of it is that I have designed it all...it's my first dabble with digital designing.

In all I have designed 6 kits...the last kit is a Valentine's day kit that will put up on the site any time now.
My work with Making Memories is done, too...all of my designs there are up on their site. I used their product to create digital greetings that you order and add pictures to.

It doesn't name me as the artist on any of them but I made at least 18 sets of them.

I have also been fortunate enough to have been published in the last few issues of Creating Keepsakes magazine...my girls think that it's pretty fun to have their "mugs" in a magazine. :)

So I have been doing REALLY well with my exercising!! I am going on week 10, although I missed a week to being really sick, but at least I have done it long enough for it to be a habit! The funny thing is, I have only lost 2 pounds since I started BUT I have been losing inches....I haven't been actually measuring BUT I was able to buy a new skirt the other day a whole size smaller AND my clothes feel looser on me...I'm pretty proud of myself b/c I wasn't sure I was going to stick with it.
