good intentions but life happens...

so why hasn't anyone come to hunt me down yet?? I told you all that you had permission if I didn't stay up with the Wed. DIY thing...lol. I had all of these GRAND intentions of doing some consistant posting on my poor, neglected blog, including the projects on Wed., but then suddenly life took a little turn (well, a big one, actually). Events have transpired for my family since I last posted and I have been a busy, busy bee preparing for it all. My husband and I have accepted jobs in a new town and will be moving at the end of this month!!! (can you hear my brain screaming about all of the work to do????)Our home has been here in Pocatello, Idaho for the last 17 years (minus one year in Texas squeezed in there) so this is really going to be a new adventure for our family. It's about 9 hours away from where we currently live, but it's still in Idaho...just at complete opposite ends. So in the last few weeks, we've been busy packing, getting the house ready and cleaning out our old classrooms, all in prep of starting this new adventure.

SO if I am missing in action, you know why. We will move there Aug. 1, which will then give us about 20 days to get unpacked and my classroom set up just in time to head back to school! SO what I thought was going to be a laid-back summer full of activities and projects is actually going to be a busy, stressful one instead. Don't get me wrong, I am beyond excited and know that this is going to be a good move for my family, but moving is sooooo stressful. We have moved numerous times...within this same city and that was stressful in itself, but this is transplanting our lives into a whole new one. I will still be around and may get to posting links to some projects I was going to try, but I for sure won't be able to MAKE them and show you my own version.
