new hybrid product...plus 2 give aways!!

I know I have mentioned my sister on many occasions...the super talented owner of Scarlet Lime. She has expanded her monthly scrapbooking kit business to a full-on mixed media art supply store. She offered the She Art Workshop several months ago and now is offering a new class--an art journaling workshop called She Had 3 Hearts.

In this art journaling workshop, She Had Three Hearts, I will help you explore the different "hearts" you have to offer and what may be holding you back from sharing those parts of yourself with others. We will use journaling prompts as well as art techniques to complete pages and canvases that will dig deep into your creative soul and help you understand why we sometimes shelter those hearts that the world needs from us...as well as why it's okay to keep some of those hearts only for ourselves. This is a fun mixed media journaling course so you will ALSO learn fun new art techniques using watercolor pencils, alchohol inks, stains, wax mediums and more! Different techniques than what is taught in my She Art Class! plus I show you how to create unique texture using masking tape, sewing, and embroidery! I also show you some creative "out of the box" journal ideas using found objects, canvas sheets, chipboard, fabric.. and more. This is a 3 part class so new content will be posted each week for 3 weeks once the class begins, AND the great news is the classroom will be open for an 3 full months!!! So you will have plenty of time to watch the video, download the PDF's and explore the classroom! Most art and techniques taught will be in VIDEO form.

I decided created some printable images that could be used for some of the techniques, including image transfers (a super cool technique from the 3 Hearts Workshop). This set comes with 4 printable pdf pages that includes a variety of images to use on any mixed media or hybrid project.
