and no, the flamingos aren't mine but I'm thinkin' about heisting 'em. :) I'm soooo tired of the snow. Today we had quite the snow storm brewing. I've been on strike wearing my sandals and flip-flops, fighting off frostbite and wet feet.
NO new product to debut today, but I do have a collab being released this Friday!! I will hold off on the peek for tomorrow or Wed...
For those interested, I'm posting the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra's
performance on YouTube of Brahms Requiem. This is the piece that I've been learning since January. I sing with community members of a wide-range of experiene and age at Idaho State. Our performance is only a little over 3 weeks away. I'm so proud of myself for sticking with it. I wanted to quit at one point, but I think it's now worth the challenge. This song has 7 Movements, each ranging from 6-15 minutes per movement AND it's in GERMAN!! I don't speak a word of German...plus I haven't sung in a choir for nearly 15 years. So...if you are interested, here's the vidoe to the first and third Movements (the third was the most challenging to learn). Congratulations! I love to sing (sang in choirs until I was in my late 20s) and I so miss it since I haven't had enough time to devote to it. Instead I pour those emotions into my scrapbooking ;D Oh, and I'm a soprano too! Good luck!
