::EGG Warmers anyone??::

So I've expanded on my desire to sell fun, eclectic things that make the soul happy. I have taken it to Etsy. I've always been a long-time fan of Etsy for its ability to bring artists a forum for sharing their mediums with others. If you have never been their site, you NEED to. It's inspiring and creative. The only downside is the dent it may leave it in your wallet.

I've decided to set up shop there to sell things that I love...from my digital creations to beautiful, vintage items. This week I debuted this & that...a shop that will focus on selling things that I love to make, as well as my obsession with lovely, vintage items.

Here's a listing of the first two items I have listed that are up for purchase.

The first is a set of dishes that I found that took me back to my childhood. My mom had a set of this popular line of Corelle dishes that are no longer in production. The Spring Blossom design (aka Crazy Daisy) takes me back to the good old days of conversations around the dinner table that was complimented by food that made from recipes and fresh ingredients....something I am failing to give my family on a regular basis.

Vintage Retro 4 Hook cups and matching saucers

The next listed treasure is a set of handmade, knitted

Forget the leg warmers...it's time to put them away and pull out the egg warmers. These super cute, handmade roosters perfectly perch over your eggs....just in time for EASTER! Use them to hide your eggs in a basket or place them over eggs atop an egg holder. They're practical and perfectly adorable. There are 5 colorful roosters in this set. 3 of the birds have stitched eyes (the pink, multi-color and yellow), while two have googly-eyes (peach and blue). The combs and beaks are made of felt and the openings for the eggs are at the bottom.

Check back often over the course of the next few weeks as I begin to photograph and list the finds of my thrift store and antique shopping. I also plan to sell some exclusive paper goods created with my digital designs.

Be sure to post a comment on MY PREVIOUS post for a chance to win $10 to my store. :)
Happy Wednesday!!

Leora, that is so awesome that you're opening an Etsy shop! Funny, because I have a shop set up, but just haven't taken that plunge...just yet! I'm sure you'll do well!

Anyways, I wanted to also mention that those cups and saucers (and it also came with plates and big serving bowls) also remind me of my childhood! The moment I saw those photos, I just had to comment. It totally made me think of my mom who always served us with those same dishes and it made me miss those things about her even more!
