**ETA: Deadline for this is Jan. 24th at 10:30 pm MST**
Let's do a challenge. I LOVE love taking photos but I also really love playing with them in the post-processing step. Of course I have my overlays to use (Celebrating Light 1 & 2 and Celebrating Color) in the shoppe. These are great tools for adding some oomph to your photos. The one photo tool I DON'T design (at least right now) are actions, but I want to talk about them because they really make it easy to transform a photo. They utilize the capabilities of the photo editing tools in your Photoshop programs without you having to do much more than clicking your mouse and maybe playing with the opacity.
Some of my favorite actions come from My Four Hens Photography Actions
Here's your challenge (and yes, there's a prize involved). Take a photo that you have taken (doesn't even have to be recent) and play with it in your photo editing program...this can be as simple as desaturating and playing with the levels and filters, or it can mean using some of the tools that are available out there in digi-land. Post your photo somewhere so that you can link me to it (your blog, Flickr, Photobucket, etc.) and then post it here. The ONE rule is that you must have the before and after included. I want to see the magical transformation. :) I love that part. Here's what you can WIN: $10 to spend in my store
and here's my play. This is an old photo of a senior shoot I did 2 summers ago. I have aquired more skills and tools since I took these photos, so I decided to play tonight just for the sake of playing (and for practice). Here's what I came up with...
I used a few of Sara's Actions

I'll leave you with my photo for Day 13 from my P365. This photo had a lot of noise because of the high ISO (the lighting was very poor), so I ran some noiseware on it and then ran a combo of actions and here's what I got. It's not as in focus as much as I would have liked, but I love her look because this is so comepletly her. :) Here's Jess..this is her "I just got in trouble for skipping class, but maybe my sweetness will distract you" look. Totally not gonna fall for it, missy.
and Ashley PROMISED me that I would get to take some photos of her this weekend, so maybe you will get to see the ever elusive Ashley.
Be sure to post your PROCESSED PHOTOS and enter to win $10 my store! :)
