ON to the challenge...

What inspires you?

I think just about anything I see, in some way, inspires me. It's crazy how my eyes are just drawn to things and I think about how I can interpret that through my art. Today's post is a little different because I'm giving you a challenge. I want to see how something that has inspired me can inspire YOU. I find a TON of inspiration when surfing the net. I especially love to visit blogs about anything related design, photography, and DIY stuff. It's also easy to become lost when you find links to blogs which links to another, which links to another. This happened to me the other day. I was visiting Green Wedding Shoes (super cool Wedding Blog) ...came across some AMAZING, super cool bowls by Loyal Loot...

and then I went came across some photos that led me to THIS photographer's website.

and I am in love. :) I found a photo that just immediately caught my eye...I can't figure out what specifically it is, but it's so calming to me....maybe it's the softness of the fabrics, the color of blurry blue in the background, the contrast of the silhouetted chandelier against the soft, white gauze, the oversize black wraps around the chairs..

Anyways, I transferred this inspiration into a layout.
