Oh, I have been drooling voer sarah's actions for a long time now! Maybe this is my chance to finally get some of them! :D
I have a lot of memorable christmas gifts, but the one I remember best was from my aunt. I think I was around ten years when she got me concert tickets for me and her to see Backstreet Boys! I adooored them and was in heaven.

I too have lots of memorable gifts but my gift last year from my husband was the most memorable b/c I was pregnant, never had a massage before and he surprised me by getting me a mommy to be massage. I cried when I opened the gift.

My most treasured gift was a wire + beaded cross that had been HANDMADE by a dear friend and co-worker. She spent hours bending heavy wire into a curved-cross shape, resulting in callouses and cuts across both hands that did not heal for weeks. Each time I look at my gift I am reminded of the great love of a friend and the pain she endured to make it for me. Take a look: http://nolatari.files.wordpress.com/2008/12/wire-cross.jpg

I just purchased some actions from her!! And I would LOVE more! :)

Anyway, one of the most memorable Christmas gifts I received was from my Grandma, after she had passed away. Apparently she would buy things throughout the year for her grandkids, so when she passed away, my mom and aunts went through all her stuff, and decided to give those things to the grandkids for Christmas. She gave me some bear salt and pepper shakers, (which my sister ended up breaking...totally broke my heart! lol) but I will always remember that!

Thanks again! :)

My husband (boyfriend at the time) gave me an aquarium which, by the way, I had NO idea I even wanted. I set it up as a salt water tank and it turned out to be the best gift I have ever received! It gave me daily enjoyment for over fifteen years.

I love Sarah's actions and your sample looks amazing!

My most memorable gift was my daughter, she was born on Christmas Eve 6 years ago.

I love Sarah's action - thanks for hosting this fabulous give away! My most memorable present(s) at Christmas would have to be from my grandma, who has passed away. All the little doll blankets and clothes and crocheted stars for my christmas tree are beautiful things I have able to pass on to my granddaughers over the years.

oh, what a great giveaway... my most memorable Christmas gift was bringing home my daughter on Christmas day in 2005.

My memorable gift was last year and it better be memorable because it's also my gift for the next 10 years worth of Christmas, birthday, anniversary and anything else my husband wants to get out of :)
He got me a 5DmkII with 24-105 L lens as a combined birthday and Christmas pressy (I usually get combined gifts because my bday is right after Christmas).
I was going to get myself the 5DmkII anyway eventually but it was so much nicer to get it as a gift and the lens was an extra special surprise because I had planned on making do with the lenses I already had but I wont say no to another nice lens :)
I use my new camera every day and every time I thank my wonderful DH.

Cristina said...

Last year my DH got me my SLR! It was a surprise, because we were a bit tight with money and had decided to wait, but he got it anyway! ;)

My most memorable christmas gift was the manger I got from my husband 3 years ago. I am collecting Hummel figures (very known and very expensive in Germany) since many years. I said to my husband that I would love to possess the manger with the holy family. I thought about buying each year one figure and then to have the complete set in a few years. On Christmas Eve 2006 I stood in front of our tree looking at it and did not even realize that something was different. Then my family said I should have a closer look on the manger. My crazy husband had spent a fortune and bought the whole manger with all persons, animals and what ever was available. I could not believe it. I laid into him for having spent so much money but the year after the company who produced it got bankrupt and I am not sure if I would ever had got the whole collection together. But as I love it so much it stays in my living room the whole year.
Well, a long story, but this is my most precious christmas gift.
Regards
Corinna

My most memorable Christmas gift was a gift for the little boy I was expecting from my mom during my very unplanned pregnancy 12 years ago (that most of my family wasn't happy about). That sweet little bodysuit she bought for him for Christmas was just so special to me during that time, and it ended up being the outfit he came home from the hospital in.

Oh I love these actions! My most memorable gift was an antique watch my husband got me last year. I saw it once when we were window shopping in May and never thought about it again. I couldn't believe he remembered and went back and bought it!

A memorable Christmas gift was the set of Nancy Drew mysteries my great aunt gave me a few of every Christmas for many years. I now have the entire set of them.

My most memorable gift was the year that Santa actually came to our house. My parents woke my sister and I up and told us they heard something outside. All four of peeked out our bedroom window to see Santa walking up to our front door and then crept to the bedroom door to see him placing presents under the tree. I can't remember what gifts we opened the next morning, but the memory of Santa's boot prints down our driveway in the freshly falling snow with stay with me forever.

My most memorable Christmas gift?
My husband...
he proposed on Christmas Day after giving me every single gift that was on my list that year!

Jan said...

My most memorable Christmas gift was from my boyfriend and now my husband. We had gone out with groups of friends and when we were out shopping I noticed a print that had a message that I loved. I mentioned to him that someday I would hope to find someone who loved me like the print described. Well on our first official date we exchanged Christmas gifts. He had gotten me the print because he knew I loved it so much. We have been married for over 14 years and he does his best to treat me that way message describes.

I don't tweet, does that disqualify me? Anyway, I remember one year when DH and were married for about 10 years. I was wanting some nice silk pjs. He gave me the box, that looked like it was perfect for the pjs, but it was heavy. OK? I opened the box and ontop of my nice silk pjs were kitchen utensils!! Very funny!

Thank you so much for this opportunity!!! One of my best gifts I've ever gotten was a Disney-scene in porcelain from the famous scene where Mickey Mouse is decorating the Christmastree and Pluto is chasing Chip & Dale!!! It's sooo gorgeous!!! I do not have Twitter, but I made a post at my blog, though: http://scrappysmile.blogspot.com/2009/12/in-christmasmood-today.html

The most memorable and thoughtful Christmas gift I ever received was from my brother. He gave me a cord of firewood the first Christmas after my divorce. I had a new house with a fireplace, but couldn't afford to buy wood. I thought that was the most thoughtful and practical gift I've ever received.

Thanks for all the fun and freebies! My most memorable Christmas memory is when I was about 7 yrs old I had a box under the tree that was the size that a 50" screen tv could fit in and of course I was excited for Christmas morning, so it finally arrives and I get to open my huge box and well I open it and inside that box is another box and so on and so on until I get down to this small box which when I open had a package of baby diapers in it and my lip instantly dropped down to the floor while my parents were laughing their butts off. I was so crushed and started crying running up to my room when they gave me my real gift which was $500 cash to spend the next day at the mall on what ever I wished. Funny parents, huh :-)

I am drooling over these!!! Thanks for the chance:)

I remember getting a bicycle when I was about 11. I really had been wanting a ten speed and my dad had it all put together in the garage, but when I did not see it I was heartsunk, since it was really the only thing I wanted. I got the good news in my stocking...when I unrolled a scroll with a cut out from a magazine of a bicycle! I was sooo excited!

I'd have to say my most memorable Christmas gift was one that I received on Christmas Eve 2003, when my little Grace entered the world. Truly a blessing!

I just purchased some actions from her!! And I would LOVE more!

When I was small,
was the best gift for Christmas, the snow.

I then got a sleigh gift from my parents, I still have today, that was my best Christmas gift.

My best and most beautiful gift to our time, is that I can spend Christmas with my daughter.

I fell in love with Sara's actions and use them constantly!

My most memorable Christmas was the year I got a diary from my great Granny. I was about 11. It started my passion for journaling and writing and it is neat to go back adn read what was important to me a such a young age.

I think my most memorable present was a bottle of designer perfume and card that my oldest son bought me for Christmas. It was the first gift he ever picked out, wrapped and shipped to me once he was out on his own. It was DK and the smell heavenly. When I want a special memory revived, I just give myself a little misting. Other than that…I’m spoiled rotten and got way too many presents over the years. It’s hard to remember them all. Hee,hee :) Thanks for this awesome chance to win. I love her actions too!

Unknown said...

My most memorable christmas gift would have to one I've already received this year. My youngest started school this year and his teacher put together a DVD of his class for the kids to give to their parents. I can't watch it with him around because he gets worried that I'm sad as it gets me fairly teary-eyed. Thanks for the chance to win!

Thanks for the great chance,

the first christmas gift I will always remember is the dollhouse and the doll shop that my sister and me get every year during our childhood years on christmas ... each year my grandma did something new within dollhouse and shop and so it never became boring to have the same present year after year ...
when my Sister and I didn't play with it anymore, my parents put it away until christmas eve it was given to us again.
