Tie-Dye for RY!!

Some of you may know, but most of you don't, about the story of Ryleigh Thomason. She's a 15 year old who is the daughter of a dear friend of mine (and one of the most amazing teachers I have ever had the privilege of working with). Ryleigh has been battling myelodysplastic syndrome for a year and half. This journey has taken her through two bone marrow transplants. Right now at this very moment she is fighting for her life. If you believe in the power of prayer, PLEASE pray right now.

Tomorrow people from all over our town are going to send "groovy vibes" top the Thomason family by wearing tie-dye (it's kind of our school "thing"). If you would like to participate, post a link to your photo of you wearing tie-dye (t-shirt, scarf, etc.) and you will be entered to win $10 to my store. :) Not only do I believe in the power of prayer, but I also believe in the power of a community coming together for a cause. Join us in Pocatello, ID and wear Tie-Dye for Ry!!!

To learn more about the Thomason's journey and to read Dad's latest update (it's a tear-jerker...you will most definitely need a tissue), check out their Caring Bridge Journal HERE.

Happy Wednesday!!
Leora

Darling, you are AMAZING and you've inspired groovy thoughts in Ry's room already this morning! Thank you so much for all you do for Ry and for our family. With family friends and community like ours, we find hope in even the darkest days.
Love,
C
