My dad has one of the kindest, biggest hearts I know. He dedicated his life to caring for mentally and physically handicapped people, as well as the elderly. He has spent his life sharing what he has with anyone who needs it...regardless of circumstances, race, lifestyle, etc. There are so many times that I remember him giving money to the homeless, offering rides to hitchhikers, opening his home to teens going through rough times. Some would say this irresponsible or reckless, but I look at the intentions of these acts...I look at them as acts of kindness. This is biggest seed he planted in me and my siblings. Kindness is one of the those attributes that requires the least amount of effort, yet it's the one that most people forget to use.
Kindness doesn't mean you have to spend any money or do anything extravagant for someone. It means doing something for someone to make their existence on this planet just a little more pleasant. Kindness can be something as simple as holding open a door for a mom who is juggling two toddlers and a bag of groceries. Kindness could be making eye-contact and smiling at that sad, young teenager. Kindness could be mowing the lawn for the widow who lives down the street. These random acts of kindness go a long way. I thank my dad (and my mom) for instilling this attribute in me.The Dare this week was challenging...more for some of the other girls, than for me. Some of the layouts that were created were heart-wrenching, touching and raw with emotion. Be sure to check them out HERE.

ALSO, be sure to check out the comments, where people post their layouts for the challenge. I have already seen some powerful LOs there, as well. Here's one that shook me to the core:
Have a wonderful weekend!! I love you, Dad!!

What a wonderful tribute to your dad Leora. And what a great example of kindness he has set for you.
The Dare layouts this week were so amazing. I need to find time to comment on everyone's submissions, because they all put so much of their hearts into this.
Great tribute to your Dad. He sounds like a fantastic person.
I was touched by both Dare layouts. We have some experience with Vertigo too. If you can separate the feeling of worthless out. You are still worthwhile inspite of the vertigo!!!
My husband had meniers syndrome for years. Finally he went to a homeopath or naturpath dr and after treatment is now free of the constant symptoms. He still needs his sleep and has certain things he avoids eating but is much better. No more dizziness and nausea, unless it's the flu! Good luck.
You have a great eye for design, keep it up!!!
