Happy Sunday!!!

*it's a long post...be patient** :)

Well, school is into full swing and our lives are back to being busy!!! Ashley is in soccer and she played the first of her tournament games yesterday. They lost but she played very well. She struggles with losing...she feels like if she lost, she's a terrible soccer player. Actually, she's a very GOOD player but I have to remind her that because soccer isn't a individual sport, how you play as a TEAM is going to affect the outcome. I think it's more that the girls are still trying to figure out how to work as a team. They'll get it!

And Jessica was asked to go with some friends to a high school football game on Friday eve. She was so excited! I guess it's the cool thing to do...the middle school kids all dress up in the colors of the H.S. team and they all sit together. Dad went to the game and sat alone so that Jess could hang out with her friends. Well, after the game, Jessica came up to him and just started bawling! I guess she had a terrible time...the girls were excluding her and ignoring her. All that came to my mind when she was telling me this was, "and so it starts." *ugh* One of the things that made me HATE middle school was trying to fit in...and I know almost everyone feels that way but it doesn't make it any easier or less painful. All I can do is let her cry on my shoulder and remind her that she is an amazing person.

I have some goodies in the store that I posted last week...

Jessica I cried once so don't worry about it. Some things just take time and I'm sure once the other girls get used to you they will include you more. I bet they like you more than you think or else they wouldn't have invited you in the first place. Stay cool and keep that chin up.YOU ROCK!--Uncle Mike
