Gone Fishin'

So we decided to take the kids out to the lake on Sunday to do some fishing. The poor kids actually groan now when we say this, not because they hate fishing, but we have taken them about 4 times now this summer and not ONCE have they caught a single fish. I'm sure Paige is beginning to wonder really what fishing is all about...mom and dad holding sticks in the water while drinking a few cold ones...how much more fun can you have?!

We finally DID catch a few this time..well, I caught a few. Ashley tried but got too impatient and handed the rod over to me. Shortly after, I was reeling in a 2 inch small mouth bass. It wasn't much, but it at least proved to the girls that there really ARE fish in Idaho. We just need to get a boat. Scott went and fished a few days prior but he was in the middle of the lake and he was catching 7 inch-ers left and right. (not that 7 inches is HUGE but is certainly was something that could be filleted and cooked).

at least Paige enjoyed the marshmallows.








We are off to watch Shrek 3. Can't wait to post sneak peeks of my products...there are some fun goodies this week!! :)
